Bonding agent
The physical and chemical properties of many carrier materials do not allow for
an adequate anchoring of the adhesive when coated directly. For this reason, a
bonding agent is often used to increase the anchoring characteristics of the
carrier material. Break strength
The strength required to break , for example, a band 10cm long and 15mm wide.
The result is measured in N per 15mm band width.
