PP-film
Polypropylene film is widely used in the production of packaging adhesive
tapes. PP-films are resistant to lye, acids and solvents, as well as being highly
tear-resistant and very inexpensive. Polypropylene is extremely sensitive to
UV-rays and, when exposed to sunlight, disintegrates completely without a trace,
which is why polyethylene is rated as environmentally friendly.

PUR
Short form for polyurethane. This material plays an important roll as a carrier in
the form of polyurethane foam. Additionally, this material is produced in a tear-
resistant and tensile form,for example, for surgical incision drapes.

PVC
Short form for polyvinylchloride

PVC-film
PVC-films play an important role as carrier material for self-adhesive bands.
Hard-PVC films are tear-resistant and printable. PVC-films are UV-stable and
therefore suitable for outdoor application.
