General instructions for fixing with adhesive materials
filmoplast® P and filmoplast® P 90 can both be used for fixing and framing.
filmoplast® P is transparent and is preferred for framing thin paper when the method
of suspension should not show through. We recommend the sturdier, white, long-
fibred filmoplast® P 90 for heavier pictures. The framing technique is identical for
both products.
Please pay attention to the following when working on pictures:
Adhesives should not be applied to original works.
Ensure that the pictures always hang free after adhesion.
Never use adhesive film tape - only use adhesive paper tape. If a picture should
fall down, the paper hanging device will tear and the picture will be undamaged.
Only apply adhesives to the edges of the picture,
outside the painted or printed areas.
